You found the right hotel for a stay in Amsterdam! Walked 7 mins from train station to the hotel so it’s close to all the sights but not in the crowded noisy areas. Very cool design hotel, artwork, decor, lobby and comfortable seating areas. We were lucky to stay in the Suite #606 with balcony and sweeping views of the city. Really loved the staff as well - spot on !

Overpriced and a lot of struggles that you don’t expect from such kind of property. Design furniture is bearing marks of coffee. Cannot open the windows. The cafe is cool, but probably is enough for one day menu.

My wife and I had recently moved away from Amsterdam and decided to make a city trip out of her second vaccination appointment. We deliberately hunted for a hotel with a bathtub in the room photos, but unfortunately the junior suite that was available was not one of the ones with a bath tub. We went back to the front desk and found the only free room with a bath tub was the nicest room in the hotel, the penthouse suite. We happily paid for the upgrade (discounted €50 from the normal price of the room) and treated ourselves. The room was fantastic, with a large roof-top terrace that reminded us of our former apartment, as well as a phenomenal bathroom. We also appreciated the welcome gift--a bottle of Prosecco that was nicer than we'd have expected.We've stayed in dozens of hotels in Amsterdam (as photographers photographing rooms), and the Penthouse Suite at the Kimpton is definitely one of the nicest hotel rooms we've had the pleasure of staying in. The location is hard to beat, and the front desk staff were top-notch. All-in-all, a fantastic hotel!

11/8 Had a lovely stay at this hotel with my wife. The staff service of both front office and F&B are superb. They do a free wine hour at 5pm in the sitting area with tasty wines. Unfortunately our room had a bathtub that wouldn't drain anymore, but thankfully the front office lady(forgot her name, I'm the worst with names) offered us free breakfast as compensation, which was fantastic! We are definitely coming back! Update 16/8 We booked this hotel again for outbound holiday flight. The same front office lady who helped us so much before(I learned her name is Claudia), was there again at night. The staff at the cocktail bar were very helpful in finding the right cocktail and were very friendly. Unfortunately later at night, we had an unpleasant surprise because our neighbors decided to try and open the adjoining door to our room, which scared my wife. Security however informed the neighbors, and we didn't have anymore disturbance that night. Beds are fantastic.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED my experience at the Kimpton De Witt Amsterdam. The front desk staff was lovely and inviting. They were always ready to help with any question I had, and being that this was my first time in Amsterdam, I can assure you I had many questions. I cannot stress this enough. The staff, as a whole was MAGNIFICENT! The Hotel was 5 STARS all around. They have a bar in the hotel that makes flawless cocktails. The bartenders are very friendly and professional. They offer twists on traditional cocktails or they can pour you the traditional cocktail. The hotel also has a brunch at their restaurant "Celia" that has an outstanding menu. The rooms were clean and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, like floating on a cloud. On my first day, I arrived after a 7 hour flight, and trekking from Centraal Station with heavy luggage and once I showered and hit the bed, I did not wake up for 4 hours. The black out shades in the room make it easy to rest up at any time, and management was responsive to requests to make up the room. When I return to Amsterdam, I will be staying at the Kimpton De Witt Amsterdam hotel. Anything you need to do is within reach and this hotel is a treasure in the sense that you can always come back to home base and relax and be taken care of no matter what time of day.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The staff was nice, the food was incredible and the rooms are very pretty! Our two little dogs were welcomed with bowls and beds. The most dog friendly hotel we've ever been to.

El personal del hotel es muy agradable y las instalaciones son modernas y actuales. Las camas kingdom size son geniales y los amenities del baño me han encantado. Tienen un perfume a gengibre. Te invitan una tarde a un punch, que es un coctel gratuito de 5.00 a 7.00 en Lyan garden. Hay un servicio gratuito de préstamo de bicicletas. Y te prestan paraguas en la puerta del hotel. La situación del hotel es buenísima, muy cerca de la plaza dam

Estuve un par de días ahí en mi visita a Ámsterdam. La atención tanto en recepción como con el cuarto muy bien, la gente que trabaja ahí también. Hubo un mozo en el happy hour que me explicó bien un par de cosas, me ofreció una copa y después venía a preguntar si estaba bien. Muy amable 😊

Buen hotel pero precios disparados. El servicio es bueno pero algo de inexperiencia en algunos de sus trabajadores de recepción. La reforma que le han hecho le ha dado un lavado de cara y la decoración es muy curiosa pero se ven detalles y desperfectos en parte del mobiliario nuevo. Las habitaciones que dan a la calle en las plantas bajas son muy ruidosas.

Buen hotel, situado muy cerca de la estación central de trenes de Amsterdam. Excelente ubicación para visitar la ciudad. Tiene parada del tranvía casi en la puerta. Antes se llamaba "Crowne Plaza". Excelente desayudo buffet. Las habitaciones, aunque no son muy grandes, están bien equipadas y son confortables. Personal atento y amable.
