They truly deserve NO stars. Stayed here on a business trip, by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I saw a rat at the front entrance the first night I stayed here. On top of that, the rooms are outdated, and the linen is clearly constantly recycled. The bathroom was not clean when I arrived. Yes, the towels and soaps were set up but there was hair in the shower and a ball of hair outside the shower. Next day, same deal even after the maid “cleaned”. The shower curtain is raggedy, the comforter on the bed when flipped over was not clean. The remote to the TV is filthy, but they supposedly clean the rooms with disinfectant. On top of all this, After a long day at a conference, I come back to my room door being out of service so I stood outside the room for 45 minutes just waiting for it to be fixed. After waiting for maintenance to get me in my room I attempted to leave back out for the gym, The door still does not work, called the front desk and the lady had an attitude I guess because I’ve called too much. She told me maintenance already came and I could change rooms but they don’t have any available with a king bed. I told her I wanted the issue resolved, not a new room. I’m not trying to be moved to a room that’s worse than the one I’m already in and hate. She then went on to say maintenance is working on it, and I asked “So do I have to stay in the room until you all figure out the door because maintenance is not here” She said yes or I’ll be locked out again. Waited an hour, maintenance never showed. Called the front desk again, got a much more pleasant young woman who was very solution oriented. Maintenance came back within minutes, they are currently working to replace the door lock. I appreciate the maintenance and the young woman for working to fix the issue, but now I’ve missed the gym and I can’t go get food until the door is fixed. It’s now 7:30 and everything around here closes at 9. I’ve been in a rush to get home since I got here. Location, price, NOTHING can make up for such a horrible experience. I cannot wait to leave, counting down the days. I will be speaking with a manager in the morning and checking out early. Worst experience.

Nice hotel close to the interstate and turnpike. Rooms are quite and clean. Been here for a few events and the staff is very accommodating. Hilton mobile key makes checking in a breeze to skip the front desk. Plenty of options for dining near by. Hotel could use some updating but overall a good value.

Upon arriving at about 12:20 pm and check-in, we were not allowed to go to our room because it was “not ready.” We asked if there were any other rooms available we were told no and were made to sit in the lobby. We let the lady know that we had to be at an important event by 1:00 pm she didn’t seem to care. We sat in the lobby for about 30 minutes and by this time it was 1:15 or 1:20 pm. My husband went to the desk again and had a conversation with the lady again and we were finally allowed to go to our room. We quickly got ready, finishing in our car, and arrived at the event at 2:30…the event was on a time constraint and was over at 3:00 pm. The shower head in the room did not work and so we opted to take a bath, but the tub was dirty, water pressure was poor and we had to rinse ourselves off by filling a cup with water and rinsing. Floors were dirty and when the air conditioner came on a very moldy smell would fill the room. NEVER AGAIN will I stay here. Poor customer service and the clerk that we spoke to at the time of check-in was very nonchalant and did not know how to accommodate the customer in a professional way. She did not take the time to nicely help find a better solution. My husband even asked her if we could change in one of the meeting rooms downstairs so that we could make our event on time and come back and check-in she gave a stern “no!” VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

We stayed at the Double Tree to avoid the wrath of hurricane Ian. The hotel was packed with people who had evacuated from the storm areas of western Florida. The staff went out of their way to assist the travelers in any way they were asked. The room was nice and clean. The hotel is located in an area convenient to local restaurants and shopping. This is a great place to stay, even under normal circumstances.

Nice front desk person, room was cute with good AC and comfy bed plus microwave, coffee maker and fridge. The gym was adequate. Ample, convenient parking. Good location depending on your purposes. There's a grocery store across the street. But someone banged on my door twice at 8am while I was showering - very annoying - and the hallways smelled moldy in some areas and like paint in others. In general, this hotel seems like it used to be nice but is decaying... sliding into the budget motel phase of its life.
